Here’s an interesting blurb on the health benefits of pet ownership. They include reduced stress, lower blood pressure, lower cholesterol, and fewer heart attacks.
As someone who has been involved in several animal rescue operations, I urge everyone to think carefully before getting a pet. Pet ownership is a big responsibility.
